Lighting solutions for homeowners & HOAs
Discreet by day, compliant by design. Everything a board or architectural review committee asks about Happy's Lighting, answered.

Why communities choose Happy's

Adding light to any home deters crime. Light also helps security cameras pick up better images. Integrate with Alexa, Google Home, Control4 or Nice/Elan security systems so lights turn on when a person is detected.

Happy's Lighting illuminates walkways and stairs to expose tripping hazards like ice and debris. It also replaces temporary holiday lighting, keeping everyone safely off the roof and ladder.

The track color is matched to the home and installed under the eaves behind the trim with the lights sitting flush. The track encases all wires and jumps are made through attics to prevent visible exterior wires.

Easy transition from white security/accent lighting to holiday lighting, then back to accent/security lighting after the holidays.

Plan months ahead with the calendar. Activate nightly, synced with sunset to sunrise, or at static times – so lights are never left on in the daytime.

Customize which lights are on and what color. Control the front separately from the back patio so the front stays on accent/security lighting while the back is on colors for special occasions.

A few of the questions we hear most. See the full FAQ page for more.
Yes. You can choose or create your own color temperature to match existing fixtures. Presets are available for 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K, and you can dial in anything in between.
Practically none. From time to time a single light may need replacing. The system is low voltage so homeowners can swap a light themselves, or we will come out and do it for you.
Indoors – typically on a wall in your garage or basement, safe from the weather, plugged into a standard outlet. One controller can power up to about 300 ft depending on wiring. From there we run low-voltage wire to the soffit of the first roof section; no exterior boxes or extra outlets.
In almost every case, yes. The color-matched track sits under the eave behind the trim and is nearly invisible during the day, and the warm-white accent setting looks like traditional soffit lighting. We provide an HOA fact sheet on request – see For HOAs.
